Eway

Eway is our gateway payment facility which connects our website to Commonwealth Bank. It facilitates taking credit card payments through the website.

This page outlines the main things that can be done with Eway like processing a payment, searching for a payment or processing a refund.

How to Search for a Payment

1. Log into Eway

2. Go to Reporting > Transaction Reporting

3. Select the date range "Duration"

4. Type in a Keyword

5. Look at search results to find the transaction you are after

6. If required, to view more details of a particular transaction select "View Transaction Details" from the drop down box next to the transaction.

How to Process A Credit Card Payment

1. Log into Eway

2. Go to Payments > Manual Payments

3. Enter all details, including in the description box the following details

- Order ID

- Source of order (email / phone)

- Staff name

4. Double check all details are correct

5. Click "Process Transaction"

6. Determine of the transaction was successful or declined on the next page. If declined try again or contact the customer to confirm payment details.

7. Note the Transaction number in the Staff Order Notes in the website back end, include the date and your initials.

How to Process A Credit Card Refund

1. Log into Eway

2. Go to Reporting > Transaction Reporting

3. Select the date range "Duration"

4. Type in a Keyword

5. Look at search results to find the transaction you are after

6. If required, to view more details of a particular transaction select "View Transaction Details" from the drop down box next to the transaction.

7. Using the drop down box next to the transaction you are wanting to refund select "Refund Transaction"

8. Change the amount (all refunds incur a $10 order cancellations and reversal of charges, unless it was our fault, e.g. the website was playing up and charged the customer twice for the same transaction)

9. Click "Process Refund"

10. Determine of the refund was successful or not on the on the next page. If not successful try again or determine why not.

11. Note the Refund Transaction number in the Staff Order Notes in the website back end, include the date and your initials.

$1495 + 600 free transactions (then 0.22 per transaction)
