0:01 Okay, this is a video for the first part of our Dear New Products. So this is before the products have arrived and it's when you're placing the order.
0:08 So it's when we wanna do that initial creation. So what we wanna do is you wanna come to a simple purchase order (Purchase>Simple Purchase (under 'New').
0:14 So you can see that I've just started filling this out with a Mountain Culture. Put a couple of Status Quo in there.
0:20 And then what you wanna do is when you're getting to a new beer that we need to create and place an order for is go to this dropdown and go 'Add new item'.
0:28 It's gonna do this popup. What we wanna do is come over to Airtable and to this Lightspeed Import tab (left-most tab).
0:35 And then this column on the left is a lowest to highest sorted SKU numbers that we use. And what we wanna do is just add the next one in.
0:46 So you can see here that this one's all created and it's 22926. So I've added this one in here, 22927.
0:53 Put the beer name in as per the normal guidelines and then you'd hit tick (in the 'Create' column on the right) - that would then push it through to, we have the pricing and things down the track.
1:03 So what we wanna do then is we wanna come back, take these details and just put it into, into here.
1:10 So you'd go to SKU and then the name and hit save. I've already done that. So the next step that I would recommend doing is we don't really wanna order it by the single, we do wanna order it by the case.
1:22 So we wanna then go find that product that we were doing. So we're gonna go to inventory and we're gonna go to products.
1:34 So this is optional, but it does make it easier down the track. So we're gonna search for that product. Best beer.
1:46 We're gonna go to additional units to measure. We don't need the four packs and all this, but we do want the case.
1:51 So this one we know as a case of 16, so we're just gonna put the case of 16. Change, change the skew to the normal convention, which is under case 16, and we can leave the rest cuz this will all get updated later.
2:05 So we wanna do that and we wanna do the number of 16. That means that we can order, say one of one case and it'll break it down into its units.
2:14 Then it can come back here and then we can place the order and now we can see the case at 16 populates it, and we're gonna get, say four of them.
2:22 Then we can place the order and then away we go. And then once we get the products in is when we can do the invoice and then we can go through and add all the rest of the pricing in.
2:31 So that is the first part of creating new products in Deere.
