Store Float
The store cash drawer has a float as float of $400 and the Excel spreadsheet to count the drawer is attached.
A brand new float should be made up as follows (daily this will vary but from scratch this is what it would consist of)
$20 x 8 = $160
$10 x 10 = $100
$5 x 10 = $50
$2 x 25 = $50
$1 x 20 = $20
$0.50 x 20 = $10
$0.20 x 20 = $4
$0.10 x 40 = $4
$0.05 x 40 = $2
Upstairs Cash Tin Float
Key for Cash Tin Upstairs is located on top of filing cabinet in which the Cash Tin is located.
The upstairs cash tin box in the drawer has a value of $424 and is only used to used to change over money for the store cash drawer. It is made up of the following:
5 x $20 = $100
10 x $10 = $100
10 x $5 = $50
2 x $2 rolls = $100
2 x $1 rolls = $40
2 x $0.50 tolls = $20
2 x $0.20 = $8
1 x $0.10 roll = $4
1 x $0.05 roll = $2
All other cash takings from the day are to be placed in Geoff's top drawer.
