Sales by Time Period

0:01 Hey Rich. This is a video on how to do the monthly sales per channel or whatever time, pa time period you want.

0:10 So what you wanna do is come into the Deere reports and then go sales reports. We wanna go sales overview.

0:15 Once again, I've started so that it's in my favorites. So we'll go start sales overview. And then what we wanna do is I've created these different kind of layouts.

0:27 So what we wanna do is go sales by channel. And that's gonna pull up this layout. And then what we can do is then we can come in here and we can change the, the period that we want.

0:37 So, so we want December we can go December, we can go update. And what we've got it set up as is that the sales representative is kind of the channel.

0:48 So the beer cocktail website is the integrations. Every sale that comes through the integration gets attached with this sales representative.

0:54 Beer Tel website bouquets is the thing for the Shopify. And then this is sales that are put through manually. So Joel will be the store.

1:04 And then me is some of the, just the local ones that we put through. So if we put, we change that to maybe this February or we can see is that, yeah, so you've now put sales through I think Colin might be using mine or Joel.

1:23 But we can still see that these two ones here. One thing to note is that sometimes these might be out by a few hundred dollars here or there.

1:31 Often that's to do with just the integration timeframe. So because there is a lag, sometimes you get sales at the very end and start that don't necessarily match up.

1:41 So if it's audited at 11:58 PM on the 31st, it's gonna be in one day for big commerce, but the second day for here by the time it gets pulled through.

1:49 And then the other thing that could be affecting it is whether or not there's been any refunds done. Refunds in Shopify will usually be fined cause they pull through.

1:56 However, if staff or support haven't processed it through Deere, that will also have issues. And so that's how you get your sales data for periods of timeframe.
