After each dispatch of the different beer club packs (The Starter, The Enthusiast, The Crowd Pleaser & Expert Pack) those customers that have opted for an in store pick up need to be notified by SMS.
The SMS notification is done using UTBox. To send this your email will need to be registered/logged under our UTBox account as an email that can send email to SMS. Currently the emails that allow this are [email protected] and [email protected].
To send a UTBox SMS simply follow these steps:
To know which customers are in store pick up run the following search filter parameters in the Big Commerce Beer Club App
For Monthly Subscriptions (search filter parameters)
1. PBTM + [Subscription Type] + Active + In Store Pick Up + Year of Previous Month + Previous Month
2. Search results will show. Either Export the data and save in relevant Beer Club month folder as the In Store Pick Up File, or if only 1 or 2 subscriptions per filter run write down / copy and paste phone numbers under the shipping address
3. Repeat step 1 and 2 for each Monthly Subscription Type.
For Quarterly Subscriptions (search filter parameters)
1. PBTQ + Active + In Store Pick Up + Year of Current Quarter + Current Quarter
2. Search results will show. Either Export the data and save in Expert Beer Club folder for that quarter as the In Store Pick Up File, or if only 1 or 2 subscriptions per filter run write down / copy and paste phone numbers under the shipping address and proceed to process below for sending email to SMS.
Now to send the email to SMS using UTBox
For Monthly Beer Club Packs (The Starter, The Enthusiast, The Crowd Pleaser)
1. Open a new email, copy and paste the following into the body of the email. Removing any formatting.
Your monthly beer club pack is ready for pick up! Please show this message on pick up as well as provide the name of the beer club member. Packs are held for up to 60 days. For store info visit www.beercartel.com.au Cheers. Beer Cartel
2. Delete your email signature
3. Do not add a subject line
4. In the To: field enter the persons phone number followed by @sms.utbox.net
For example [email protected]
5. Do step 4 for all customers that are in store pick up.
For Quarterly Expert Packs
1. Open a new email, copy and paste the following into the body of the email. Removing any formatting.
Your quarterly Expert pack is ready for pick up! Please show this message on pick up as well as provide the name of the beer club member. Packs are held for up to 60 days. For store info visit www.beercartel.com.au Cheers. Beer Cartel
