Credit vouchers are a good option in the following situations:
- Australia Post has delivered the parcel but there was a damaged beer inside and had not been lodged as damaged.
- The customer questions the quality of the beer, e.g. it was out of date or did not travel well and is not tasting very good.
The credit voucher value is not a set amount and is determined on a case by case basis and takes into consideration the value of the damaged beers / questionable beers. The credit voucher is valid for a period 3 months and is for another online order, i.e. is not redeemable in store.
To create a credit voucher then the following steps are done:
1. Log into the back end of the website:
2. Go to "Marketing" > "Coupon Codes"
3. Click "Create Coupon Code"
4. In Coupon Name enter the customers name and order number to which the issue relates e.g. "18056 - Justin Collorafi"
5. In the Discount Amount enter the value of the voucher
6. In Number of Uses select the two check boxes and enter "1" (1 use only and only 1 per customer)
7. Select the Expiry Date to be 3 months from the date it is being created.
8. Copy the Voucher code so you can paste it into your email to the customer.
9. Click "Save"
10. Paste the voucher code into your email reply to the customer.
11. Send the email to the customer outlining that the voucher is valid for the next 3 months.
Process complete.
