Retails Systems Australia is our provided for the POS (Point of Sale) system in store and other computers.
The store computer is the "Master" computer and Richard's Laptop and Geoff's Laptop are "Slave" computers.
End of Day (when daily/monthly/yearly management sales reports) are automated to run on the store computer at 4am in the morning and the End of Day on slave computers is set to automatically run at 2am in the morning. It is important that Slave End of Day is done prior to the Master End of Day.
Report Types
Local Report - just the local computer
Combined Report - run on the Master computer and combines all reports
Department Report - runs sales data on all different departments
Computer Names / Reports
Richard's Computer is "Office". This is a slave PC. (actual PC name is Richard)
Geoff's Computer (Sally's old PC) is header "Office1". This is a slave PC. (actual PC name is Office2)
Lachlan's Computer is header "Laptop". This is a slave PC. (actual PC name is Laptop)
Store Computer header is "Master". This is the Server PC. (actual PC name is UCSSVR)
Warehouse computer header "Office2". This is a slave PC. (actual PC name Office1)
Accounts computer header "Accounts" This is a slave PC. (actual PC name BCACCOUNTS)
