Leading into Christmas we get requests for Beer Advent Calendars as a corporate gift. One of the most common questions is what price can the customer get for volume orders.
For 2019 the following pricing discounts apply:
Always lead by EFT transfer as payment option
Quantity:0-10 = no discount
Quantity 11-20 = $3 off BUT must be placed through website using CODE: 2019ADVENT
If we have to manually enter the order then there is no discount.
NOTE: If customer wants to add more than 20 to the online cart they can update this on the cart page
Next Breaks above 20 units:
Two different situations are possible, multiple of single delivery location.
Multiple Locations
For multiple locations the discount is the $3 / $5 depending on following quantity
21-50 > $3 off / Delivery saving which ever is higher
51-100 > $5 off / Delivery saving which ever is higher
100+ > $5 off + delivery saving
Single Delivery Location
For single location there will be a delivery saving so select highest discount $ off or delivery saving amount.
21-50 > $3 off OR Delivery saving, which ever is higher
51-100 > $5 off OR Delivery saving, which ever is higher
100+ > $5 off AND delivery saving
For single delivery locations the delivery costs can be charged at a higher rate than actual charge rate but still shown as a significant saving to customers, e.g. if delivery of 100 units to one location is meant to be 100 x $9.99 = $999 but the pallet rate for 2 pallets is $150 total you could still charge $300 for the delivery and still show a significant saving to customer.

Hi [NAME],
Thanks for your recent enquiry regarding our Beer Advent Calendars - they are certainly very popular!
For the volume purchase you mention there is / isn't [insert discount based on above breakdown of volume].
Cheers.
For volume deliveries to one location consider pallet or same day local courier:
If stock is to be sent on a pallet and not individually, then shipping rates can come down quite significantly. This requires the recipient to have a forklift to receive the delivery. Also for local Sydney drops of large quantities then a same day courier like Mail Call will be cheaper than sending each box individually through Australia Post.
