0:01 This is a basic overview video for reporting in Deere. So what we wanna do is come into the, into the menu and click on reports.
0:09 So once reports open up, you're kind of given some options. These options are all linked to the menu items that we're looking at.
0:15 So you've got purchase reports, sales reports, inventory, financial audit, and production. The main ones we're gonna look at are going to be in production, inventory and sales.
0:25 So what we wanna do in some key ones just kind of get an idea of how they work. So I'm just gonna open up the sales order details.
0:32 So this individual videos around individual reports, but this is just an overview of how they work. So all we have here is if it's a time-based one, they're always gonna be something up here that kind of gives you different time periods or custom if you wanna select a specific day.
0:48 And then you'll just hit update. So this one that I've chosen is a sales or a sales detail. So let's just go last 30 days and run.
1:00 That might take a little bit. But what this one does then is it gives you all the sales order details and you can customize and add the details as you want.
1:11 So these columns up in this blue are currently not being used. The ones down here are currently being used. So if all I wanna know is sales by sales representative, I can click and drag and bring this out, and then we're just gonna get the total quantities of these.
1:25 But for some reason, if I don't want that and I just want on month, we can drop the month in and it's gonna show you the values for the month.
1:36 What we can also do then is we can also kind of drill down further. So if we wanna go let's go product.
1:46 So this is the values for the product. We could also then drop in month as well. So then it's gonna split everything up as a good example is up here of how many you sold in November and December.
1:58 Then we could also we could drop year in in front of it. And it works, it's works its way down.
2:07 So if we want to kind of batch things together using these as a really good tool. So if we wanna go let's go sales representative at the front and then let's go order number.
2:25 And then this is gonna break it down by order. So you can actually go through and see what this sales order is and drop me the dropping the reference number.
2:33 So the sales reference number is the order number of what each order actually composed of. So we can continually change what, what's searched and what kind of grouped together.
2:43 And then the other one we can do is if we come up into this field, specifications, no, not field, sorry, into the configure layout is in this data quantity area.
2:53 Here is where we can actually say, well, we don't want discount, so we can drop discount out. We don't want tax.
2:58 We don't, we only want quantity in total. And then if there's other ones that are areas in here, we can also add and change them here.
3:06 So if we update that, you can see how that we've, we've updated it, and from here we can export it.
3:11 We can actually then save the layout, give it a name so that once we like this layout, we don't have to create it every time.
3:16 And then we can go here and go default and then we can save it there. So that is kind of really overview or how reports work.
3:26 If you, in other videos, we'll go through specific ones.
