0:01 Welcome to Dear - so this is our inventory management system for both Beer Cartel and Brewquets. This is just a quick kind of overview of just some of the key features of Dear and just kind of just brief details about how we are gonna be using it.

0:20 So the first thing is, is that when you come into Dear, you are gonna be on this page called overview dashboard, which is this top menu bar.

0:28 So the first thing is, is just kind of what is the dashboard? The dashboard is where we have some widgets that we can place on it where we've kind of got just these ones here that include kind of sales purchase, product overview, and you can click these and then put them as you need them.

0:44 These are all kind of unique to your login, so you can make them kind of as you see fit. So for this one, you can click this button here to, to change it.

0:53 You can then drag and drop them as well. And this is just a really good way of when you log in just to see an overview of kind of things that are specific to you.

1:00 So these pending invoices here are ones that are probably back ordered, so ones that we need to go look into for Out of Stocks.

1:10 We can see a very brief kind of product overview of what's been selling and so forth. So you can go through there, have a play around, see what's kind of best for you and we can change what's on this dashboard.

1:21 Up in this top right, there's a couple of options for how you can kind of personalize Dear and make it work for you.

1:27 If you click up into this little palette button, you got some colors you can choose from. The main one to look at is this navigation style.

1:33 So you've got vertical where the menu is here, or you can go horizontal, which then just puts them up the top.

1:39 Once again, totally personal and just whatever works for you. The next thing for Dear is just getting your head around probably the four key areas that we'll be kind of working in and just getting your head around just what they kind of mean and some of the terminology.

1:56 And they are just the headings under this menu here. So these four here. So you got Purchases, Sales, Production, and Inventory.

2:03 So Purchases is all around us purchasing off suppliers, so all our purchase orders and entering of invoices. Sales is where all of our invoices and kind of sales from our, you know, platforms - Big Commerce for Beer Cartel, Shopify, POS, all those where, you know, people buy from us.

2:20 Production is where we do production of say our packs. So building of Hottest 100s or Birthday Dozens where we take other products and produce them into an item and then inventory.

2:32 So this is where we've got all of our products, our availability, and just everything to do with the inventory that we, we have.

2:37 The other four are less important, but we'll talk about them later. But those four, there are the absolute key kind of areas.

2:42 Just to note whenever you go into them, you'll have kind of two sections on this pop out menu. The top half is always 'New', so it'll be like new purchase order.

2:52 And then the second bottom one would be searching, so searching purchase order. So this one would be new sale, search sales, you know, new inventory, search inventory.

3:02 And then that's kind of a brief overview of just basic, kind of top line of Dear. The thing to note is that it is an inventory system for both businesses.

3:12 So the idea being that if we have a beer that's used in say Birthday Dozens, but then it's also available on Beer Cartel is that it's a one single source of data.

3:24 So there is never kind of multiple SKUs, it's always just one centralized system. So the birthday sales the dozen brews from Beer Cartel, all the marketplaces and also at Brewquets will all come through onto that one product.

3:42 So it is that centralized system. So that's just a very brief top line overview of Dear.
