Subscriptions can be purchased for a set period after which they automatically cancel or they can be purchased as on-going which has to be manually cancelled. Beer Club subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Customers can cancel their subscription by logging into the beer club website. Customers will quite often not be able to cancel their subscription because they are trying to login via the Beer Cartel website login as opposed to the Beer Club login. To cancel a subscription:
Click on the order link or copy and paste the order number into the Shopify search.
Check the order status, if the status is Fulfilled, click on the # Orders hyperlink under the customer's name hyperlink and ensure there aren't any Unfulfilled orders.
Click the Apps link in the left hand menu.
Click Bold Subscriptions in the list of Apps.
Click on Subscriptions in the left menu.
Click on Customers in the sub menu.
Copy and paste the customer's email into the search and click the Search button. If no results are returned select All Subscribers from the Filter by customer status drop-down. If a result is returned they are no longer subscribed and you don't need to worry about updating the address in the Bold Subscriptions app.
Click the edit pencil on the right.
Click the three edit dots on the right.
Click Cancel Subscription.
Respond to the customer confirming that the subscription has been cancelled. If there is an un-fulfilled order, let them know that there is one final delivery on the way that has already been paid for.
