Damaged parcels occur with less than 2% of parcels we ship out. Some things to know about damaged items:
- The default service on our Australia Post account is for any damaged items to be returned to Beer Cartel so that a fresh parcel can be sent to the customer.
- Do not send out a replacement parcel until we have confirmation from Australia Post that the damaged item is being returned to us.
- There are a range of remedies for customers depending on the damage, speed of replacement parcel requirements, customer type. These are either a replacement, online credit voucher or refund. A refund is only to be provided in very rare circumstances e.g. the customer is extremely upset and needed the delivery for a specific day / function and is demanding a refund.
