0:02 This video is around Bill of Materials for our pack items. So this is for products like say our Australian 6, Australian 12, that are made up of other products, other beers.
0:14 So what we wanna do is we wanna go to the product. So go Australian 6, I think it's a mix six.
0:26 So pull out the product here. First thing we wanna do is in this screen is you wanted to see this bill of materials. (Open the product, go to the Bill of Materials dropdown menu in the General tab)
0:33 So think of this as like the bill of kind of products that composed, composed of it. So if it's a normal product it'll have no BOM.
0:44 So it's just a single beer. So like a Balter XPA has, it's not made up of anything else. Well, the Australian 6 pack is an assembly, so we wanna choose the Assembly BOM.
0:54 What that does is this little tab here called Bill of Materials will open up, it won't be visible previously. And essentially you'll get this page here.
1:03 So what this is, is this is where we populate what it's composed of. So you can see here that we've got 6 different beers and we've got one quantity of each of them.
1:14 And this is where essentially when we make an Australian 6 pack, this is what it's composed of. So when this (the Aus 6 pack) goes one up in stock, all of these will go down one in stock.
1:22 So we not, we won't use any of this wastage or quantities or assembly costs, but here's where you can see the cost per unit.
1:30 And this is our total price for an Australian 6. So I guess things to note on here is we always want this quantity to produce, to be one.
1:38 We are never really gonna have times where this will not be one because it'll be in the Production part, which is not this, it's where we will say we wanna produce 12 or 24.
1:47 We'll always have one up in here. So this shows that one Australian 6 pack is composed of this quantity here.
1:54 The only other button of note is this button here called Auto Assembly/Kit. Now this button is ticked when it's a product that we don't make in bulk prior.
2:06 So things like our wine boxes where we don't have them sitting on hand, we make them to order. That's where we'd have this as auto assembly because this will always be in zero stock. Someone will buy it and Dear will automatically take one of these out of stock.
2:17 Well, for the majority of the packs, like our limited boxes, our Birthdays, Australian 6s, Hottest.
2:26 We make these to order. So we actually want this not ticked so that when we do our production run, it will then do it all at once and it'll say you've got 48 on hand and all these products will go down by 48.
2:36 So that there is an overview of the bill of materials.
