Shipping Updates

As of 28 Aug 2023

Express is now no longer available for South Australia. We ran some numbers and it was far to expensive vs what we were charging. So SA is only standard delivery.

We have also increased the EXPRESS rate for NSW / ACT now $19.99 (per case or part thereof)

VIC / QLD now $24.99 (per case or part thereof)

These are the only 4 states that have express available. This increase was needed due to the costs we were incurring vs charging customers.

FYI - The case size on Brewquets is set to 14.99kg so that if someone buys a 24 pack and a 12 pack in one order they will be charged 2 lots of express (10kg and 5kg) as we cannot fit a 24 gift pack and a dozen brews in one parcel. But if they were to buy 2 dozens brews in one order using express it’s just the one express freight charge (this is a bit different to how we did it before).

The over / under $100 spend still applied for STANDARD delivery for all states.

We switched over Brewquets shipping offer to be free delivery over $100.

The idea with this is that now that we have product add-ons people can increase their basket size instead of just having to pay for shipping, i.e. they can get something of value with adding another product. And at the same time we can cover some of the costs increases we are seeing in freight and product costs due to inflation. It also brings the two businesses closer together in terms of shipping offering for the same products.

The screenshot below shows the options people will be shown / offered depending on cart value and destination.

We will see how some of this goes and pricing may be adjusted overtime, e.g. customers under $100 on the Birthday Dozen will be shown Standard at $9.99 and Express at $14.99 so we could see an increase in express which we don't necessarily want.

There is a progress bar shown on the website based on the customers cart value.
