Creating Recurring Manifest In Australia Post

Recurring manifests are an easy way to create a bulk batch of consignments from previous consignments (manifest) that have already been dispatched. For example, using a last months beer club manifest to create this months beer club consignments (i.e same members).

To create a recurring manifest follow these steps:

Check to See if Consignments Exist that have not been Dispatched

1. Log into Australia Post

2. Go to Consignments > View Consignments Not Dispatched

3. Click Clear "Clear Filter". This will show if any consignments have been created and are still awaiting to be dispatched. You can choose to either dispatch them or not depending on why they are still there. This just ensures you are aware that there may be existing consignments awaiting dispatch before you create consignments from a Recurring Manifest.

Creating a Recurring Manifest and Consignments

1. Go to Manifest > View Manifest

2. Select the Manifest you would like to recreate consignments from and click "Set As Recurring"

3. Go to Manifest > View Manifest - Recurring

4. Rename the Recurring Manifest that has been created and click "Save" E.g. if it was a recurring manifest created from the January 2016 Half Dozen Beer Club dispatched Manifest then you would call it Beer Club Half Dozen Janaury 2016 (as all the consignments in the manifest are from that dispatch)

5. Now select the Recurring Manifest you want to create New Consignments from by ticking the box next to the manifest number.

6. Click "Create New Consignments from Recurring", click OK when prompted by Pop Up box. The page will automatically load on the "View Consignments Not Dispatched" page. These are all the new consignments created from the Recurring Manifest.

7. Depending on the consignments you may need to add more new consignments (e.g. new subscriptions from the current month), delete some (e.g. cancelled Beer Club subscriptions) or change details (e.g. customers have change address)

8. Once you are happy with the consignments you can print labels, add labels to the boxes and then dispatch the all consignments as per normal.
