The most pressing Re-Amaze enquiries for Beer Cartel are those regarding Gift Card Messages, Address & Order Changes as these need to be actioned as soon as they are received in order to be included in the parcels and in the creation of the Australia Post label files respectively.
Gift Card Messages
A lot of people seem to miss where a gift card message can be added in our checkout process. This is likely due to it sharing a text field with the order comments (see below). As a result we get a lot of re-amaze enquiries from people who missed the gift card field when placing their order and want to add a gift card message to their order after the fact. These enquiries are particularly time sensitive as the gift cards are printed with the orders first thing in the morning at around 8AM. In order to be added after the fact they need to be manually printed by the warehouse managed and added to the correct order in the bays before it is packed. As the orders can start being packed and sealed from 10AM this leaves a small window for any gift card messages sent through via re-amaze to be added. Once an order has been labelled and put in a shipping container a gift card message is no longer able to be added.
As such, one of my first tasks in the morning most days is to quickly scan through all the enquiries to check for any gift card messages to be added to the days orders. When you find a gift card message, you'll need to:
Check the Beer Cartel & Brewquets Shared In-Notes to see where the orders have been printed up to.
If the order number of the gift card message is higher than the number in the Beer Cartel & Brewquets Shared In-Notes then the gift card message only needs to be updated in BigCommerce, you can stop at Step 6. If the number is lower than the number in the Beer Cartel & Brewquets Shared In-Notes then the address will need to be updated in BigCommerce and on the printed paperwork, please progress through all steps.
To edit the address is BigCommerce, search for the order number and select it from the results.
Click the three dots on the right and select View Notes.
In the Order Comments field, type Gift Card: and then copy and paste the gift card message from ReAmaze.
Click Save and you should be taken back to the order list with a message stating that the notes were successfully updated.
Send it through to the warehouse manager via Slack under #beer-cartel-urgent-order-updates to update the printed paperwork or re-print it. Add it to the chat in the following format:
