To draw a competition use Random Result - a random entry picker. Also https://www.random.org
1. Enter in Names/Emails
2. Select Number of items to pick (normally just one, if first and second prizes select two)
3. Enter in competition name
4. Click Save the ticket
5. Click OK to Draw Now
6. A winner will be picked and a web address shown at the top of the screen listing all the entrants
In Store Signup Westvleteren XII competition
Signup sheet attached - open in Word and print
Once sheet has been filled up enter details into Google Sheets
1. Enter first name, last name, email, competition name and then put an x in each box to indicate if customer has subscribed to the store or general newsletter
2. In Google Sheets highlight all data and then click Data > Sort Range
3. Click Data header has rows - sort by Competition click Add another sort column choose Store News click Add another sort column choose General News - this will then sort the data so it is much easier to import into Malichimp
Enter data into Mailchimp
1. Login to Mailchimp and go to Beer Cartel List > Import Subscribers > Copy/Paste from File
2. In Google Sheets highlight those subscribers to add to Mailchimp that have subscribed to both Store News and General News - copy their Name, Email & Competition Name and paste into Mailchimp
3. Click the checkbox "I understand my billing will be upgraded" and click Next
4. Match up First Name with First Name column, Skip Last Name, Email Address should be automatically matched, and match the competition name with Source. Click Next
5. Categorize the imported subscribers as: Subscribed
6. Click Checkbox Add imported subscribers to these groups > Click Checkbox Select your Newsletter preference and select General Newsletter & Store Newsletter - Click Import
REPEAT STEPS 1-6 for Store News only subscribers, then repeat for General News only subscribers
Once complete go to Google Sheets in the column Entered into Mailchimp add an x next to each email
On the physical newsletter signup sheet put a tick on all boxes on lefthand side to show that the details have been entered into mailchimp.
Drawing competition
Select all customers that entered the competition for a set period e.g. January Store - enter these into Random Result and pick a winner.
Send Customers email that winner has been picked
Use Westvleteren template in Mailchimp
Update competition winner and for whom the comp was for e.g. Westvleteren XII January Comp

Subject: You are our Westvleteren XII Winner!
Email:
Hi XXXX,
Congrats you're the winner of our Westvleteren XII competition! As your prize we've got a bottle of Westvleteren XII here ready for you to pick-up.
If you are able to let me know when you would next be in I'll get this ready for you to pickup.

Once customer has responded
Remove bottle of Westy XII from system
Put out back for customer to collect - create picking slip saying Westvletern XII Winner [NAME]
Use store pickup stamp and stamp on this
When customer comes in store ensure they sign this form
