This page is for enquiries a customer sends in just after the 9AM cut off asking for an order to be delivered on a date that is now greyed out due to the cut off period, e. g. 2 days in advance during Covid. This requires an escalation to see if the warehouse staff can accommodate the request as it is outside of normal procedures. The process below can be considered if the enquiry is received between 9AM and 9.30 AM. After 9.30AM the standard response would be that unfortunately it is after the 9am cut off time.
This is ONLY for the Brewquets business.

• Due to Covid-19, delays are anticipated hence we dispatch 2 days prior the preferred date.
Note: Australia Post has temporarily suspended their next business day guarantee
Pre-requisite Steps:
1. Crosscheck if the item is eligible for Express / Preferred Day Delivery:
Page: https://brewquets.com.au/collections/specific-day-delivery-gifts
2. If eligible, check AusPost Express Delivery Network
Page: https://brewquets.com.au/pages/specific-day-delivery
Or check by entering the postcode into one of the product pages (if the customer has provided the postcode)
If no postcode or area has been provided (e.g. 2000 or Sydney) then you may need to ask the customer for this information.
Note: Deliveries are only made Monday to Friday excluding public holidays.
Process:
1. Cross check time of enquiry. Cutoff time for Express - 9am AEST.
• Typically, our system isn't meant to allow orders for delivery within 2 business days after the 9AM cut off.
2. If a little past 9am,and before 9:30am, we can escalate to Carly (or Brewquets manager for the day) so long we are in the quiet periods (non-peak season, i.e. not Valentines Day, Fathers Day, Christmas).
• Check current date with respect to the work week's days
• Note that deliveries are only made Mon-Fri; hence, count Business Days
3. Get confirmation from Carly (or warehouse manager) that this is possible. In most cases it will be easier to just assign the enquiry to the warehouse manager at Brewquets to avoid double handling the enquiry. If warehouse is OK to proceed then the following should be used as steps.
4. Have customer select the next nearest Express Delivery date which is typically the next 2 days
(e.g. If a little past cut-off on a Wednesday, have customer select the date on Monday. Carly will override it for Friday).
Very Important: deadline for Brewquets warehouse is before 11am AEST as the AusPost van pickup comes at 11am.
Note: Refer to Kennards Storage Facility typical daily routine on attached picture file / image below.
5. Once done coordinating and confirming with Carly, relay accordingly to the customer regarding request (if the enquiry has not been assigned to Carly / BQ manager).
