Back Orders & Out of Stocks

This is how to deal with out of stocks or back orders as it is known in in Dear.

This needs to be done on a daily basis. 

In Dear click Sale > Search Sale.

Select Backordered and this will pull up the orders that are on back order, where there wasn't enough stock to fulfil them.

Click the reports tab in a new tab and then under sales reports, scroll down to back order details of which if you press the star, it goes into your favorites.

This will show you the items that are on back order (out of stock)

1:19 So the Christmas dozens is a great one. So what we can do then is for these, we then need to produce these or alter stock levels so that we do have enough.

1:28 So what we're gonna do is we're gonna go into production and we're gonna do it in assembly. So if we open this up, we're just gonna choose the location.

1:40 So we just need to, essentially, a lot of the time these would've been done. Generally there should be packed. It's just because we ran out of them and we need to do another run of them.

1:50 We're gonna go Christmas, I think it's 1 8, 2 3, Bruce, we're just gonna make one cause it just tells us that we need to make, make one and then we're going to load the bomb of it, authorize it pick it, allocate.

2:18 Okay, so that now has added that Christmas doesn't into stock. We can also then drag the order here so we can find out what order.

2:29 So it was this one here. Now if we search for that, we know that it's this order here. Now what we wanna do is we need to fulfill this.

2:36 So if we select it, we drop down, we want to go full sale completion. This is now going to retry the processing of that order and you can poke do these as well.

2:55 If there's more than one, come on, it doesn't usually take this long. Oh, so yeah. So now full, full completion of one sale done.

3:19 Now if we search for that, again, it's not gonna be under the back order tab. And if we rerun this report, we can see that that Christmas dozens now gone.

3:27 So we need to make sure that we do this on a daily basis. Just keeping on track of outta stocks.

3:33 Also making sure that we do do all our production runs when we do make them just so that we don't run outta stock online as well.
