Customers are encouraged to leave reviews of the products they purchase. This creates engagement with Beer Cartel which increases their likelihood to purchased again in the future, while also providing a reward for writing reviews.
Customers are incentivised with a $5 voucher for 1 review written or $10 for 5 or more reviews written.
They are also invited to leave a site review which is sent via Yotpo.
Product Reviews
Currently provided by Bigcommerce Reviews. Bigcommerce support article on reviews
To turn on/off product review emails in Bigcommerce go to Settings > Store Settings > Miscellaneous
It is listed under Email Reviews: Product Review Emails
Currently sent to customers after 20 days from an order.
Once a review has been written the customer is provided with a $5 voucher for 1 review written or $10 for 5 or more reviews written valid for 3 months.

You can see if there are any reviews outstanding by going to Bigcommerce Dashboard, these will then be mentioned in events.
Also accessible by going to https://www.beercartel.com.au/manage/products/product-reviews and sorting on Status.
There is no fast way to look at individual reviews. To preview a review click on the cog and select preview. A pop-up of the review will then be shown.
Reviews are set so that only those that have an account can make reviews. We then receive an email letting us know that the review has been placed with the subject: You have a new review for [PRODUCT NAME]
To send a customer their voucher:
1. Open their order email and click Reply to All
2. Put their email as the To email address and remove the sales@ email address
4. Paste the following email (or used canned responses):
Hi NAME,
Thanks very much for your review, it is much appreciated!
As a small token of thanks, please find the following voucher code which is valid for $5 off purchases made online in the next 3 months: CODE
Prost!
Kind regards,

If they have written 5+ reviews change wording to say:
Hi NAME,
Thanks very much for your reviews, it is much appreciated!
As a small token of thanks, please find the following voucher code which is valid for $10 off purchases made online in the next 3 months: CODE

4. Update their name from the sales email.
5. Click on the following coupon code sheet. Go to appropriate sheet i.e. $5 if <5 reviews, $10 if 5+ reviews. Paste in their email address in the first free cell and copy the coupon code next to their email.
6. Send email
8. Update all reviews written by reviewer to Approved on Bigcommerce

Site Reviews
Currently sent via Yotpo - example of site review attached (Example of Yotpo Review Email) - these are done via mail After Purchase

Current limitations:
Only a proportion of customers are currently emailed with a request for review as not all Bigcommerce orders are currently being recognised by Yotpo (in the same way Google Analytics does not recognise all orders).
Yotpo can also be set to sending out product review emails (limitation of 1 product per email). To do this you would login to Yotpo and go to Tools > Collect Reviews > Email and General Settings > General Settings (note: not currently done as using Bigcommerce Reviews).
To turn off/turn on Yotpo Reviews - logo into Yotpo and go to Content Generation > Reviews > Mail After Purchase - switch the Mail After Purchase Live Mode to Off and Save.
