Embedding a Responsive YouTube Video

When embedding YouTube videos it is ideal to have them as a responsive design so that no matter what device (phone / tablet/PC) a viewer is using they have the optimal experience without half the video being cut off.

To do this prior to embedding the video in the blog post or website page follow these steps.

1. Copy and paste the YouTube Sharing link URL e.g. https://youtu.be/thhvqSwz9c0

2. Go to http://embedresponsively.com/

3. Paste the YouTube Sharing link URL

4. Copy the embed code from the bottom of the page

5. Paste the embed code into the HTML coding area of the web page / blog post

6. If required insert the AutoPlay coding if you would like the video to start playing as soon as the site visitor lands on the page.

7. Save the page / blog post

8. Test to ensure the video has been properly embedded by visiting the web page / blog post.
