Once results have been collated and a presentation put together then a live Facebook video broadcast is done to present/launch the survey results.
This done on a Tuesday evening at 6PM allowing time for the shop to be closed and maximise possible viewership. It also allows 3 full days during the rest of the week to maximise media exposure.
Whats required:
- Laptop
- Monitor to be showed behind the presenters
- Good lighting
- Microphone if the laptop microphone is not good
- VGA to USB converter
- Ethernet to USB connector
- Good internet connection (upload is most important as this drives Facebook Live video quality)
- IMPORTANT: ensure no other staff are using the internet as items being uploaded / downloaded will effect the quality of the broadcast due to bandwidth and internet speed limitations. Request that all staff have their tasks completed before or after the broadcast.
- The presentation
- Prepared script / overview of the flow of the presentation
- Test run the day or two before to ensure all is working OK
- "Guest" video presenters prepped if wanted to have them in a PIP (Picture in Picture) during video, e.g. Winner of Best Brewery etc.
- A beer or two
