(We get quite a few people getting in contact via ReAmaze for address changes either because they have got the address wrong, they have been advised of an updated address or they have moved (primarily a beer club issue). A
Like the gift card enquiries, address change enquiries are particularly time sensitive as the orders are printed first thing in the morning at around 8AM. In order for the address to be changed after the fact the address needs to be manually updated in BigCommerce, the printed paperwork manually updated or re-printed by the warehouse managed before the Australia Post postage labels are created. If the postage labels have already been created the address can still be changed up until the parcel is put in the shipping container. As the orders can start being labelled from 10AM this leaves a small window for any address updates sent through via re-amaze to be added.
Again, one of my first tasks in the morning most days is to quickly scan through all the enquiries to check for any address changes to be made to the days orders. When you find an address change, you'll need to:
Check the Beer Cartel & Brewquets Shared In-Notes to see where the orders have been printed up to (see below).
If the order number of the address change is higher than the number in the Beer Cartel & Brewquets Shared In-Notes then the address only needs to be updated in BigCommerce, you can stop at Step 7. If the number is lower than the number in the Beer Cartel & Brewquets Shared In-Notes then the address will need to be updated in BigCommerce and on the printed paperwork, please progress through all steps.
To edit the address is BigCommerce, search for the order number and select it from the results.
Click the three dots on the right and select Edit Order
Click Next, Click Next again and you should be on the shipping details page.
Update the shipping address per the ReAmaze enquiry.
Click Next, click Save and you should be taken back to the order list with a message stating that the order was successfully updated.
Send it through to the warehouse manager via Slack under #beer-cartel-urgent-order-updates to update the printed paperwork or re-print it. Add it to the chat in the following format:
