Due to the volume of advent calendars that need to be assembled we have decided to outsource this part of the task to a Third Party Logistics company called TIFS
Requirements for deliveries:

Instructions: Follow TIFS signs, loading dock and deliveries at rear of building.
Receiving dock times: 0730-1330, please call (02) 9519 1666 to book a time slot 24hrs prior to delivery.
Paperwork: All deliveries must have the relevant paper work and packing list or they will be rejected.
Invoice: Please send [email protected] a copy of invoice.
Chep / Loscam / Plain Pallets: if using Chep or Loscam pallets the freight forwarder / logistics company / brewery must just state when booking in the delivery in with TIFS the number and type of Chep/Loscam pallets that are being used so that TIFS can organise to have the correct pallets to exchange when the delivery occurs. From TIFS: "While we prefer plain pallets, we do have Cheps and Loscams on hand which we can exchange should the need arise. We will need to know in advance how many exchange pallets are required."
The best option is always to use plain pallets.

For 2018 a field to pull any gift messages was added to the checkout.
This is done in Bigcommerce > Advanced Settings > Account Signup Form > Form Fields
The new form was Gift Message (optional):

This was removed from the checkout on 11th December.
Third Party Logistics Warehousing Insurance (stock insurance while in third party warehouse)
As stock will be stored off site at another premises it is wise to ensure this stock is covered. This can be added to existing policy we have with Finn Foster / Quattro. The rate is approximately $120 for $100,000 to $180 for $150,000 of sum insured.
This can be added to the policy by emailing Finn Foster representative (previously this has been Steve Brady [email protected]) with the following information:
Warehouse construction type - wall type, roof type and floor type (see below)
Timeframe additional insurance is required for
Sum to be insured
Address of 3PL warehouse (see above)
Once this is done and payment made the stock is insured.
