Our Vision:
It’s 4 years from now and Beer Cartel is recognised as Australia’s number one retailer of craft beer. The business has a mailing list of 200,000 people, over 5,000 beer club subscribers and ships up to 500 parcels a day.
We have created strong relationships with various large businesses which strongly drive purchase of our corporate gifts and our beer club.
The business has received significant media exposure in part due to its personality and branding. Beer Cartel is regarded as experts within the craft beer industry, often called upon for commentary about craft beer related topics. It is regularly cited as a case study for successful online business’.
Beer Cartel has developed excellent content generation across blog, video & via podcasts which drives engagement with the brand amongst craft beer lovers.
We have developed strong strategic partnerships with Craft Beer advocates and journalists which have helped to grow both our database and sales.
The business has received outside investment to help it grow and also has developed an employee share scheme.
Beer Cartel’s systems and processes have been nailed, along with its HR creating a highly engaged workplace that is often considered among the top places to work in the industry. Thanks to these systems and processes and the strength of the business model, consideration is being given for launching Beer Cartel in overseas markets.
As well as continuing to purchase from Australian importers, Beer Cartel has also developed partnerships with International Breweries and is importing beers from overseas.
Beer Cartel creates events regularly in each state to drive brand affiliation, educate consumers and drive sales. The business is turning over $10 million annually and employs 30 full time staff.
