We occasionally get address change requests for our Beer Subscription in Re-amaze.
They are identifiable by the order number which starts with CLUB e.g. CLUB3452.
The recurring payments are processed in Shopify on the 15th of each month at which time the orders created. The addresses are exported for creation of the post labels on the 1st of the month.
Click on the order link or copy and paste the order number into the Shopify search.
Check the order status, if the status is Fulfilled, click on the #Orders hyperlink under the customer's name hyperlink and ensure there aren't any Unfulfilled orders. If the order is Unfulfilled, click the Edit link next to the Shipping Address.
If the order is Unfulfilled for the month prior e.g. actioning in February but order was for January immediately let Richard know of the address change as it may be this order is in the process of being sent out - do not take any more action until this has been done.
Edit the Shipping Address per the customers' request and click the Save button.
Click the Apps link in the left hand menu.
Click Bold Subscriptions in the list of Apps.
Click on Subscriptions in the left menu.
Click on Customers in the sub menu.
Copy and paste the customer's email into the search and click the Search button. If no results are returned select All Subscribers from the Filter by customer status drop-down. If a result is returned they are no longer subscribed and you don't need to worry about updating the address in the Bold Subscriptions app.
Click the edit pencil on the right.
Click the three edit dots on the right.
Click the Edit Shipping Address hyperlink.
Edit the Shipping Address as per the customers' request and click the Update button.
If the Shipping Address state hasn't changed you can click the Update button again.
If the Shipping Address state has changed from or to NSW or ACT, you will need to update the shipping rate. Check with the customer this is ok before putting through the charge. e.g. Hi [NAME], no problem I can update your address however there is a slight change in shipping rate for your new state with the rate changing from $9.99 to $14.99 a month. If you can confirm you're happy to go with that I'll get updated right away. Shipping to NSW & ACT is 9.99. Shipping to all other states is $14.99.
If the subscription is a PrePaid subscription they will need to be charged the difference.
Once the shipping rate has been updated click the Update button.
Tag the Reamaze conversation with the tag "Beer Club Change".
Respond to the customer with the updated shipping address copied from Shopify confirming that the Shipping Address has been updated as requested.
Assign conversation to Richard in Reamaze.
Check that the address update has been made to any Unfulfilled orders in Shopify AND in Bold Subscriptions app.
