When a beer runs out the line needs to be cleaned before a new beer is tapped:
Fill the line cleaner keg with a fresh 3 litres of line cleaner (see line cleaner label for dosage rates).
Clear the line with line cleaner. Be sure to open and close the tap and increase and decrease the tap speed while pouring line cleaner to clean the tap.
Shake the keg up and run more line cleaner through (ensuring there are some little bits of line cleaner visible in the line.
Put the coupler, quick connects, thomas valve and non-return valve into a jug filled with line cleaner (see line cleaner label for dosage rates).
Leave the line cleaner in the line & in the jug with the coupler et al overnight.
Flush the line with more line cleaner.
Rinse the coupler et al with water, sanitise and put together.
Sanitise the coupler point on the keg and connect the coupler.
Wait until a fill is requested before purging the line with sanitiser.
Connect the quick connects and pull the beer through until it pours clear (approx. 250/500ml).
