Monthly Update of Website Beer Club List + Spreadsheet

Each month after the beer club has been sent out the website needs to be updated with beers featured. This is done to provide potential customers with an idea of the beers featured in our packs.

To do this do the following:

1. Open Beer Club Booklet for the month just gone to determine beers to be included.

2. Open Excel document (Beer Club Website Update) attached and also located in Monthly Generic Folders in Excel.

3. Go to Tab "1. Enter Beer Information Here"

4. Go to Beer Cartel website front-end and search for each beer e.g. Riverside 55 Pale Ale.

5. Click on Image and right-click copy image address.

6. Paste this into column 2 of Excel "Image Address" - the address will look something like http://cdn6.bigcommerce.com/s-4dsnxp/products/2709/images/3006/Australian_Beer_Cartel_India_Pale_Ale__11342.1445835495.1280.1280.png?c=2 -

7. Delete the part of the address that says ?c=2

8. From the website copy the brewery name and paste this into the column Brewery e.g. Riverside.

9. From the website copy the beer name and paste this into columnn Beer Name e.g. 55 Pale Ale.

10. Copy and paste the beer description into the Paragraph columns from the one used in the club book.

11. Once this has been done for each beer go to Excel Tab "2. Update Website from Here"

12. Copy the cells that have data in them e.g. for one month worth of beers you would copy cells 2-5.

13. Go to the Bigcommerce backend page Previous Beer Club Packs 2016 https://www.beercartel.com.au/manage/content/pages/48/edit also located at Storefront Content > Webpages > Previous Beer Club Packs 2016

14. Click on the HTML icon on the page

15. Go to the top of the page and click on the page and after the code "<div class="beer-club-packs-wrapper">"

16. Press enter a few times and then post the code from 12.

17. Click Update

18. Look through the beers added and make sure any 0's are remove. These will come from Excel where there are empty cells.

19. Once all updated click Save & Keep Editing

20. Check that this has then been updated on http://www.beercartel.com.au/previous-beer-club-packs-2016/

Updating Google Spreadsheet with Beers Previously Featured

As well as updating the website, each month the spreadsheet of beers featured in previous packs should be updated. This is done so the same beer isn't ordered twice and to find an easy reference point for those beers previously had.
