The shelves in store become dusty overtime and therefore need to be wiped down every 2- 3 months. This is a task that is only to be done during quiet times in store, i.e. in the mornings earlier in the week.

Cleaning on Glassware Shelves
Glassware shelves in store can be cleaned at anytime, even when you have customers in store (but not during peak times). It is a great task to do when you are in store and a customer is happy browsing at their leisure and you are looking for something to do.
To clean down glass shelves follow these steps.
1. Get blue bucket and two new Chux. Fill bucket approximately 1/4 full with warm water, adding a few drops of soap
2. Wet one of the Chux and wring out.
3. Individually remove each glass from the shelf, cleaning each one as you go. To clean each glass, wipe down with the damp Chux and then dry with the dry Chux. Then place on the counter top not being used by customers.
4. Once all glasses have been cleaned on one shelf wipe down that shelf with the damp Chux and remove all dust.
5. Place clean glassware back on the shelf you have just cleaned.
6. Move onto the next shelf and repeat steps 2 - 5.
