Selecting the Beer Order (1-25)
Once the beers have been finalised the order in which they appear in the box (which day 1-25) then needs to be decided.
Some variables that need to be factored in to ensure a good order:
- Brew dates of the beers
- Australian vs international (ensuring a good spread)
- Beer style spread (ensuring a good spread and no big "runs" of pale ales or IPAs or dark beers)
- Ensuring good highly rated beers are included in the first 7 days. (people will be instagraming etc and others will not
have bought a pack but may do so once they see the calibre of beers included, even if it is a few days in)
- ABV of beers, e.g. higher ABV on weekends if possible (fewer on week days considering work etc)
- Package format, i.e. cans and bottles. 24 & 25 must be cans. The larger 500ml can must be in spot that is easy to
remove given they are lower than the beer bottles with necks.
List & Templates
Create the list in Excel and include the beers Rate Beer scores for reference.
Once completed create a template (see attached) that has the beer names, location and image of the bottle/can. This will be used by the 3PL as a template guide and checking to ensure the correct beers are in the correct spots.
