Sometimes customer will input the incorrect address either because they forget to enter the Unit no., device autofills delivery address or recipient has moved out.
We occasionally get enquiries from customers asking to update the shipping address. To check if shipping address can be updated, you'll need to:
Click on the order number hyperlink in Re:amaze or copy and paste their order number into the search in Shopify.
Make sure that the order has not yet been dispatched from our warehouse. You can call them at 205 to confirm.
The order status will need to be Unfulfilled. If the item has been dispatched you can no longer update shipping address.
In Shopify, go to Shipping address field and click Edit.
Copy and Paste the updated shipping address from Re:amaze to Shopify.
Click Save. You will see below a pop up notification Shipping address saved.
Go back to Re:amaze and inform the customer that we have updated the shipping address. Make sure to include the new shipping address.
Hit Reply and Archive.
With the changes applied be sure to post details through the assigned team/manager via Slack under #brewquets-urgent-order-updates in the following format:
Order Number (Customer's name) - Address Change
Updated address in Shopify
