1. Select In Store Pickup orders in Bigcommerce to notify
2. Choose Export In Store Pickup
3. Save file to Australia Post folder (same as orders to be sent out) – save file with name In Store Pickup
4.Open saved file and copy contents, excluding headers
5. Open Beer Cartel & Brewquets Shared Notes, select In Store Pickup sheet
6. Paste contents in cells
Note: the above does not switch the status in BigCommerce to awaiting pickup – you’ll need to do this as well
We offer "Click & Collect" for our online customers. This means they can place an order online and then collect it from our Sydney store without paying for shipping. This allows them to secure stock or just make the in store shopping experience quicker.
During the online ordering process the customer will have the option of In Store Pick Up or Australia Wide Delivery. Which ever method they select will be shown on the packing slip and invoice.
Some things to know about In Store Pick Up Orders:
- All orders that are marked as In Store Pick Up must have the Blue In Store Pick Up Stamp applied to it.
- They are processed the same as other online orders, except once the order is checked off by a second person it needs to be set to Ready for Pickup in Bigcommerce and then placed on the maroon shelves or the grey shelves out in the warehouse.
- When the customer comes to collect follow these instructions:
1. Ask the customer for proof of purchase, this can be a hard copy print out of the order or the email confirmation of the order on their phone.
2. Go out the back and get the order from the maroon or grey shelves.
3. Bring the order to the customer in store and go through each of the items on the order making sure they sight the contents of the order.
4. Have the customer sign and enter their details in the Blue Stamp area
5. Enter your staff details and the date in the Blue Stamp area
6. Log into the website back end and add a note to the staff notes area that the order has been collected. E.g. GH 15-12-15 Order collected by John Smith The initials at the start of the note are the staff members initials.
7. Change the order status in Bigcommerce to "Completed"
8. The process is complete, the customer can take the goods.
9. Place the signed paperwork in the tray out the back marked "In Store Pick Ups."
