For the new beer club subscriptions (managed in the Bold Subscriptions app in Shopify) customers delivery details can be changed.
Please note the following. If making a change you will need to amend the delivery address in the current unfulfilled order (if one exists) and also within the subscription in the Bold Subscriptions App. This will ensure the current order and any future orders have the new address.
Important note:
If updating towards end of month or start of week still before dispatch, check with Lachlan/Conor first if labels have been printed. If have been, unable to update delivery address - inform customer.
Customers can change their address if they have activated their account (activation email sent immediately after their purchase). The only exception to this is customers who pre-pay their subscription upfront, these customers will only be able to amend their billing address. The reason for this is that prepaid customers could change their delivery address to one which has a different delivery charge (e.g. a different state). As they are prepaid customer they would not have any payment adjustments made to cover potential delivery charge differences and hence they can only amend their billing address. Pre-paid customers need to have us change their delivery details as admins.
Updating/Changing Shipping Address in https://beer-cartel.myshopify.com/admin
1. There are two (2) places to update the address
2. First, copy the email address and paste to the search bar
3. Click the order
4. Click edit in the Shipping address. Write the new address and click save.
5. For the 2nd place, go to Apps. Then click "Bold Subscriptions"
6. Go to subscriptions. Click "Customers"
7. Type in the email address of the customer in the search bar. Click search
8. Once the customer is found, click edit. Then click "Edit Shipping Address"
9. Type the new shipping address. Click update
10. Choose ok on shipping amount.
