Fathers Day 2018:

We went live with Fathers Day Brewquets on the website on 2nd August. Every Fathers Day Brewquet had the Father's Day beer wrap labels included (applied to the bottles before hand in larger batches, then the Brewquets made up).

Original Price point:

Small Fathers Day Brewquet: $44.99 + optional extras

Big Fathers Day Brewquet was $79.99 + optional extras

On the 22nd August this was revised to:

Small Fathers Day Brewquet: $39.99 + optional extras

Big Fathers Day Brewquet was $69.99 + optional extras

Products sold with optional extras of Jerky, Chocolate and Nuts (using the Bold Options App). $10 each or all 3 for $20.

Each label costs $0.56 ex GST.

Sales really ramped up from the 25th August. From average of 5-10 orders a day to 20 orders a day.

The week just prior to Fathers Day seems to be a key buying period with little early buying occurring.

Fathers Day Long Stem Brews (includes 4 beers, canned socks, key chain and nuts)

Fathers Day Beer Hamper w/ Socks (9 beers, key ring, Awesome Dad socks, chocolate bar and jerky)

For 2019 BoozeBud released a 16 beer pack with BoozeBud branded socks. These went on sale on 7th August (first Facebook post). On the 12th of August online stock checks show they had 860 Father's Day packs in stock, meaning they probably only created 1,000 packs to sell. As at 20th August they had 595 packs remaining. As at 23rd August they were at 311 packs remaining. On August 27th they had 84 left. Their packs sold out on the 28th August.

Fathers Day Home Page On Brewquets

The home page for Father's Day was updated to be more themed Father's Day and provide cues for customers regarding Father's Day gifts.

The attached PowerPoint shows the layout of the home page for Father's Day.

OLD: (allows for compressed file size) The ideal size for the top banner image is 800 x 338

NEW: 1600 x 575 which allows for the image not to be pixelated.

For 2020 the Main Menu on the home page had 🍾 CIDER removed to allow space for Father's Day.

The Birthday Gifts was also reduced to Birthday

And All Occasions was reduced to Occasions

Product Page.

At time of launch the product page is set as per normal with Standard and Express / Preferred Day delivery options available. Within the GiftShip app the 2 days prior to the weekend are blocked out (Thursday and Friday) to limit disappointment for customers. This means they last avaiable selected date is the Wednesday prior to the Father's Day weekend.

If there is stock still available after this time then the product page can be changed around to no longer offer the free standard delivery but to have a 3rd options added as per the picture below. If changing with this format you will also need to change the product template page to be product.nocalendar-HardCodeMSG

LAST MINUTE EXPRESS DELIVERY: The remaining stock is only available via Express Delivery. While this is a faster delivery method we cannot guarantee delivery prior to Father's Day. Please note the following:

Victorian / Other Interstate Addresses: due to Covid-19 restrictions in Victoria and reduced domestic flights to other parts of the country we cannot guarantee delivery prior to Father's Day.

Sydney / NSW addresses (non-regional NSW locations such as Wollongong and Newcastle) are less likely to be impacted as dispatches are from Sydney and Express Delivery during Covid-19 is approximately 1-2 business days.

While we are unable to guarantee delivery by Father's Day these are the average EXPRESS delivery times for each destination. We dispatch within 1 business day of order placement. Express is still a faster service as it is a priority service.

ACT / NSW: 2 business days

VIC / South East QLD: 3 business days

SA: 4 business days

Express delivery is not available for WA, TAS, NT, QLD North / remote QLD. These locations will be sent standard. For postcodes that fall within the express delivery network please check the post code here.

In some areas Australia Post are delivering weekends to assist with processing the increase in parcels due to lockdowns.

Stock is extremely limited and will sell out.
