From time to time it may be necessary to process and order over the phone, e.g. if customer is having technical difficulties due to the web browser they are using etc.
If they are just wanting to place the order over the phone because they just can't be bothered with placing it online then please encourage them to place it online using the following statement.
"I can place this order over the phone for you but please note that orders that are manually processed, i.e. not received via the website take up to 48 hours to be processed. Orders placed online are received and processed straight away."
Note that during the busy Christmas Period no orders are processed over the phone, orders are only received via the website (except for large corporate orders).
To Take an order over the phone follow these steps:
1. Print document attached to this page named "Order Form V2" (these can also be found in the vertical tray in the warehouse)
2. Complete all details on the form and read them back to the customer
3. Let the customer know that once the order is processed a confirmation email will be sent to their nominated email address. IMPORTANT: it is their responsibility to look at this confirmation email and ensure that all details are correct.
4. Once finished with the customer on the phone process the order via the front end of the website.
5. The order will then be in the online order queue ready to be printed, picked and packed.
