If a Beer Club customer enquires about renewing or extending their subscription a brand new order must be created via the front end of the website. This cannot be done by staff, the customer must place the order themselves as it all needs to be created and automated into the Beer Club app when the purchase is made online.
NOTE: the customer must wait until the original subscription has expired before renewing, otherwise they may receive a double up pack if they renew prior to the original subscription having expired. Automated emails are sent when a subscription has expired.
Reason being:
- Their old subscription is just that, old and expired (or will expire) and we cannot extend and existing subscription. This is a limitation of the system. Placing a new order is simple and easy for the customer.
- A new subscription will need to be created and entered through through the front end, it CANNOT be entered via the back end of the website manually. Processing through the front end of the site means that all data is captured and entered into the Beer Club app automatically
