Creating Coupon Offer to Send to Breweries

Each month a discount voucher is sent to the brewery's being featured in that month's Beer Club pack to assist in driving beer club subscriptions.

Step 1. Coupon Creation

1. Open the file “Coupon $10 DD-MM-YY Beer Club Template” located in Dropbox\Beer Cartel\Beer Club\Beer Club Brewery Discount Offer and attached below

2. Update the three columns hightlighted; “Name", "Code" & "Expires" to end of the month this is being featured for e.g. coupons are for the January club pack is = 2016-01-31.This needs to be written in YYYY-MM-DD format.

3. Select Save As > Other Formats > CSV in the folder created previously at (4.), update the file name with the current date. You will be asked if you wish to keep the workbook in this format, select Yes

Step 2. Spring Merchant

1. Go to Spring Merchant https://www.beercartel.com.au/content/app.html

2. Enter Beer Cartel API Username and Token from LastPass

3. Select CSV from (11)

Step 3. Image Creation

1. Open file "Beer Club Brewery Discount Offer" located in Dropbox\Beer Cartel\Beer Club\Beer Club Brewery Discount Offer and attached below

2. Update bottle image, the beer name and voucher code. Note 4th beer template is different as it isn't included in 6 packs.

3. Right click on image and select Save As Picture - save into the monthly Beer Club folder with the name "BREWERY Beer Club Discount Offer".

Step 4. Send to Brewery to Promote

Use the Email template below to send to the brewery:

As a bit of a special offer for having the BEER NAME in our MONTH subscribers packs we thought we would offer fans of BREWERY $10 off if they join our monthly beer club.

I was wondering if you would be able to do a shout-out to your social media and email to your database? Thought it would be a good excuse to reach out to your supporters/fans and also give you something to put on Facebook etc.

Enter the Code: CODE at the checkout

Offer is valid until midnight 31st July 2015

Note: the voucher code is valid only for discount on Beer Club subscriptions. Beer Club packs featuring BEER NAME will be sent out in the first full week of MONTH.
